To begin with, use the search phrase below in Google. The results from this will show which articles are getting the most views out of all the articles in the ezinearticles.com directory, in *any* niche you choose.

Here’s the search phrase to enter into Google:

It’s also going to be incredibly useful to know exactly what keyword phrase the article is ranking for in Google, to find out why the article is getting so much traffic.

To begin with, the clue of the main keyword phrase is usually in the title. To carry on with the above example, one of the titles of an article in the results made with the search phrase above was “Acai Berry – How to Lose Weight With Acai Berry”.

Now obviously we know that the article is optimized for the phrase “How to Lose Weight With Acai Berry”. And amazingly, this article appears on the front page of Google, competing with over 2 million results!

To carry on with the analysis of the acai berry article, you can use certain free web tools that will analyse web page content, which show what keywords the content is optimized for. Google “keyword analysis”, or “keyword density tool” and you’ll find more than one tool to use.

These tools can analyze the article of your choosing from the results earlier, by simply pasting in the url of the article page. You can then find out what keywords you need to optimize the article for.

When it comes to modeling the article to achieve similar results, focus on getting those keywords sprinkled throughout your article. You should also ensure that the keyword phrase is used in the title. You can’t use the exact same title, but you could use a similar title with a few words added on.

For example, the article could be titled: Acai Berry – Top Tips to Lose Weight With Acai Berry.

Remember though, these articles don’t rank in the search results all by themselves! Especially with high competition keyword phrases, you’re going to need to build some backlinks pointing to your article.

To ensure even better SEO, make about 70% of your backlinks have the keyword phrase as the anchor text.

Well, unfortunately this tactic rarely works. Unless the blogs posted to are on auto-approve, your comment is very unlikely to pass the spam filters, or get published.

Not only that, but even if your comment makes it through – lame, generic comments rarely interest people.

Tip #3: Be helpful.

Sounds like an obvious piece of advice, maybe. But – sometimes impatience takes control, and when you come to post a comment, all you want to do is post any old sentence with a link to your site so you can move onto the next blog.

The tip here is to actually take the time to read the post you’re commenting on. Then post great, helpful and relevant advice.

And something else — use your real name as the commenter. Don’t listen to those who advise using a keyword as your name to get backlinks.
